President Joko Widodo Attends Presidential Inauguration with Kahiyang, Kaesang, Grandchildren

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Iriana departed from the Merdeka Palace to the MPR/DPR building in Jakarta, Sunday (10/20) to attend Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka’s presidential and vice-presidential inauguration.

President Jokowi and Iriana left the Merdeka Palace with their children and grandchildren, among them were Kahiyang Ayu, Kaesang Pangarep, and son-in-law Bobby Nasution. President Jokowi wore Betawi traditional clothes, while Iriana wore a white kebaya, scarf, and had her hair in an up-do.

However, Kaesang’s wife, Erina Gudono, was not present because she had just given birth to their first baby on Tuesday (10/15).

The inauguration of the President and Vice President will begin at around 10 AM western Indonesian time. At around 11.30 AM western Indonesian time, Prabowo and Gibran will leave the MPR/DPR building to the Merdeka Palace to attend a farewell event with Joko Widodo and Ma’ruf Amin.
