Selvi Ananda Wears Red Kebaya for Presidential, Vice-Presidential Inauguration

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-VP-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka arrived at the MPR/DPR Building on Sunday (10/20) at around 8.30 AM western Indonesian time for the presidential and vice-presidential inauguration with his wife, Selvi Ananda.

Gibran wears traditional Betawi attire, the Bangsawan Ujung Serong, with batik cloth around his waist.

Meanwhile, Selvi wears a red kebaya with a scarf of similar shade and a golden brooch. Her hair is in an up-do with a tiara-like hairpiece.

She wears earrings and a necklace as well as a clutch.

Gibran and Selvi were welcomed by a number of Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) officials, including MPR Head Ahmad Muzani. The presidential and vice-presidential inauguration will begin at around 10 AM western Indonesian time.

At around 11.30 western Indonesian time, Gibran and Prabowo will leave the MPR/DPR Building for the Merdeka Palace to attend a ceremony with Joko Widodo and Ma'ruf Amin.
