SEAToday.com, Jakarta-President-elect Prabowo Subianto and VP-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka will be inaugurated at the Nusantara Building of the parliamentary complex in Jakarta, today (10/20).

According to the schedule, the inauguration will begin at 10 AM western Indonesian time, opened by People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Head. Then, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka will take the oath of office.

Indonesian President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and VP Ma'ruf Amin will attend the inauguration. They will switch seats with Prabowo and Gibran after the inauguration concludes.

Then, the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, will make his first speech in front of the House, Regional House, officials, the public, and state guests.

On April 24, 2024, the Indonesian General Elections Commission (KPU) declared Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the winning candidates of the 2024 Presidential Elections.

There were three candidates in the 2024 Presidential Elections, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, Prabowo-Gibran, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

The decision was written in an official letter on the declaration of president-elect and VP-elect of the 2024 Presidential Elections.

Prabowo-Gibran reaped 96,214,691 votes, 58.59 percent of the total votes.
