Meaning Behind 79th Independence Day Logo
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-79th Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony Head Heru Budi Hartono launched the Independence Day logo in Jakarta, Monday (6/24).
This year’s theme is “Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju”, which means new Nusantara and advanced Indonesia. In his opening speech, Heru explained that the theme was chosen to highlight the transition of capitals and power.
“Moreover, the graphic elements are inspired by the river, which is the source of life. Rivers have tributaries that will eventually end up in one stream. This represents various groups uniting and moving forward into new Nusantara and advanced Indonesia,” said Heru.
