North Korea Celebrates Leader Kim Jong-un With “Friendly Father” Single Release
SEAToday.com, Pyongyang-Recently, North Korea released a single full of praises for their leader Kim Jong-un. The song, titled “Friendly Father”, was released along with a music video broadcast on state-controlled “Korean Central Television” channel, Wednesday (4/17).
The lyrics of the song contains praises such as “He is holding his 10 million children in his arms and taking care of us with all his heart,” as well as “Let’s sing of Kim Jong-un, our friendly father.”
An event with the live performance of the song was attended by Kim himself, and was also broadcast on TV. The event was held to mark the openinig of an apartment complex that reportedly can accommodate 10,000 homes in Pyongyang.
Meanwhile, the music video and the song itself feel vibrant and cheerful, with people of all ages coming together to celebrate the leader.
