Unique Uniform of Yogyakarta Civil Service Police, Inspired by Surakarsa Troops of Yogyakarta Palace

SEAToday.com, Yogyakarta - The Yogyakarta Civil Service Police (Satpol PP) has a distinctive uniform that often catches the eye due to its resemblance to traditional Javanese attire.
According to the Yogyakarta Public Relations Instagram, this unique uniform was inspired by the Surakarsa troops of the Yogyakarta Palace and was adapted for modern use. It's worn every Thursday Pon, replacing the traditional Javanese clothing worn by personnel. Additionally, this uniform is worn for special occasions like Grebeg ceremonies.
Male personnel wear a 'beskap' jacket paired with a batik cloth featuring the kambil secui pattern, a gold belt, a modified 'blankon' hat, and a kris attached to the right side of their waist.
Female personnel have a similar look, with the primary difference being their headwear. They typically wear a bun covered by a beret. However, hijab-wearing personnel can opt to wear the beret directly.
