SEAToday.com, Nusantara - Presiden Joko Widodo memberi nama gedung Kantor Presiden di Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) sebagai Istana Garuda. Sementara itu, nama Istana Kepresidenan disebut dengan Istana Negara.
Informasi tersebut disampaikan Plt Kepala Otorita IKN, Basuki Hadimuljono, Senin (29/7). Basuki menjelaskan Istana Negara IKN merupakan kediaman resmi Presiden yang berlokasi di Kawasan Inti Pusat Pemerintahan (KIPP) IKN, Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara.
Sedangkan Istana Garuda berada tepat di belakang Istana Negara, tempat Presiden berkantor.
Deputi Bidang Protokol, Pers, dan Media Sekretariat Presiden, Muhammad Yusuf menyampaikan bahwa Presiden Jokowi sudah mulai berkantor di IKN dan dijadwalkan melakukan dua agenda, yaitu menggelar rapat dengan jajaran Otorita IKN dan Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) Kalimantan Timur.
