UN Secretary General Condemns Israeli Attack in Rafah

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres has strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Rafah. This was conveyed based on his X account (@/antonioguterres), Tuesday (5/28).

"I condemn Israel’s actions which killed scores of innocent civilians who were only seeking shelter from this deadly conflict.”

He also called on Israel to stop all forms of attacks because there is no safe place in Gaza.

Earlier on Sunday (5/26), Israel attacked a refugee camp in Rafah. The Palestinian Civil Defense said at least 40 people were killed and dozens were injured as a result of the strike.
