Bromo Tourism Area Closed on April 4-5, April 25-26

SEAToday.com, East Java - The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Hall (BBTNBTS) will completely close the Mt. Bromo area. BBTNBTS Head Septi Eka Wardhani said the area will be closed twice this month. 

The first closure period will be held on Wednesday (4/4) from 12:01 a.m. until Thursday (4/5) at 23:59 p.m. Then, the second period will be held on Thursday (4/25) from 12:01 a.m. until Friday (4/26) at 23:59 p.m.

The closure will be carried out by cleaning the tourist area, which will involve local residents, jeep associations, street vendors, and others. Wardhani also mentioned that the closure of access to Mount Bromo from Probolinggo Regency will be carried out from Cemoro Lawang entrance. From the direction of Pasuruan Regency, the access will be closed from the Dingklik area.

Mount Bromo is one of the most visited destinations in East Java. Visits to Mount Bromo in 2023 reached 368,507 people consisting of domestic and foreign tourists.
