SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The General Elections Commission (KPU) held a plenary meeting to recapitulate the results of the vote count for the 2024 general elections at the KPU office on Tuesday (3/19) morning.
From the meeting, the KPU ratified the election results in 34 out of 38 provinces in Indonesia. KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari said there were four provinces that needed to be recounted at the national level. The provinces were West Java, Papua, Highland Papua, and Maluku.
Based on the results of the calculation conducted by the KPU from Wednesday (2/28) to Monday (3/18), Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka won 427,871 votes in 128 PPLN areas.
Followed by Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with 125,110 votes, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud M. D. with 118,385 votes.
