How to Exchange Money Through 'PINTAR' from Bank Indonesia
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Bank Indonesia provides rupiah money exchange services for THR through the Rupiah Exchange and Money Exchange (PINTAR) website. To meet the needs of money changers, Bank Indonesia has prepared 197.6 trillion rupiah worth of currency, consisting of 172.8 trillion rupiah worth of large bills and 24.6 trillion rupiah worth of small bills.
For SEAtizens who are interested in exchanging money through the PINTAR website from Bank Indonesia, here's the steps:
- Open the website https://pintar.bi.go.id/
- Select the menu "Penukaran Kas Rupiah Melalui Kas Keliling".
- Choose the domicile province, and several money exchange locations in each province will appear.
- Select the date and operating hours for the exchange.
- Fill in booking data such as NIK, name, phone number, and email.
- Choose the denomination of money you want to exchange.
- When finished, download the proof of booking and bring it when exchanging.
