Government : LPDP Recipients Can Work Anywhere, Don't Have to Return to Indonesia

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency in English (LPDP) scholarship recipients from overseas universities do not have to return to Indonesia and can work anywhere. This information was confirmed by the Higher Education, Science, and Technology Minister Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro on Tuesday (11/5).
The minister explained that the current conditions in Indonesia may not yet be optimal to provide ample opportunities for these highly skilled individuals. However, he emphasized the government's commitment to building an industry capable of accommodating their expertise.
"We're offering them the chance to pursue their careers anywhere in the world. Even if they don't come back home, their accomplishments, whether working for top companies overseas or creating new innovations, still benefit Indonesia. The Minister also reaffirmed the government's dedication to investing in education, stating that such investments will always yield positive results.
