Bawaslu Introduces New Channels for Reporting Hoaxes during General Election

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) launched three election hoax complaint channels on the first day of the campaign period for presidential and vice presidential candidates, Tuesday (11/28).

According to Bawaslu Public Relations Officer Lolly Suhenty, the three new channels are through phone calls, email, and complaint posts at Bawaslu offices. In addition to increasing Bawaslu's alertness in overseeing the elections, these three channels will also strengthen the two existing channels.

Bawaslu appealed to all election participants, government officials, and the people to fight together against the election hoaxes.
