SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Commission VIII of the House of Representatives (DPR) officially set the Hajj Pilgrimage Cost (BPIH) for 2024 during a joint meeting at the DPR building in Jakarta on Monday (11/27).
Based on the agreement, the 2024 BPIH is set at IDR93.4 million and the Hajj Pilgrimage Cost (BPIH) paid by pilgrims is IDR56 million, which will be allocated for flight costs, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, living expenses, and visa fees.
The results of the agreement will later be submitted to President Joko Widodo to be stipulated as a Presidential Regulation.
