Indonesian National Police Awards Loka Praja Samrakshana Medal of Honor to President Joko Widodo

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian National Police (Polri) awarded President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) the Loka Praja Samrakshana Medal of Honor for his major role in the development of the Bhayangkara Corps organization.
The award was given by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at Mako Brimob Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java, Monday, during the Operation Mantap Brata troop title ceremony in order to secure the oath-taking of the President and Vice President-elect.
“Awards to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, for outstanding services to the development and progress of the NKRI Police in providing protection, protection, and services, as well as law enforcement for the security of the community, nation and state,” said an excerpt of the announcement in the process followed online by the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta.
The awarding of the medal of honor for public security and safety, Loka Praja Samrakshana, was held at Mako Brimob Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java.
Earlier, Jokowi attended a troop title ceremony to secure the inauguration of President and Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka at Mako Brimob Depok.
The President also presented Nugraha Sakanti Honor Marks to seven work units within the National Police Agency for their service to the nation and state.
The seven work units that received the Nugraha Sakanti honor are Bareskrim Polri, Baharkam Polri, Korbrimob Polri, Polri International Relations Division, Korlantas Polri, Densus 88 Antiterror Polri and Pusdokkes Polri.
