President Jokowi Gives Bonus to Paralympic Athletes

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo on Wednesday (11/9) gave his appreciation to the Indonesian para-athletes of the Paris 2024 Paralympics at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. On this occasion, the President also handed over cash bonuses to the participants.

The President expressed his pride to the Indonesian contingent that has succeeded in making a new history with a total of 14 medals. Not only to those who won medals, the bonuses were also given to the participating athletes, as well as coaches and assistant coaches. 

“This success is not instant, but the result of a long process. Both early talent identification, long-term and sustainable training and the hard work of coaches, support teams and various other parties,” he said.
