Government Urges Indonesians to Postpone Travel to Lebanon, Iran, Israel Over Security Conditions in Middle East
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry has urged Indonesian citizens to temporarily suspend travel to Lebanon, Iran, and Israel due to the worsening security situation in the Middle East region. This was announced in a press release issued by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Sunday (8/4).
The ministry also urged Indonesians living in Lebanon to leave the region immediately until security conditions improve. Indonesian citizens who are currently in the three countries are asked to increase their vigilance and follow the emergency measures issued by the Indonesian representatives.
Previously, the Indonesian Embassy in Beirut, in its announcement on Monday (7/29), also asked Indonesian citizens to consider leaving Lebanon temporarily on their own as long as commercial flight services are still available.
