Indonesia and Australia Launch INTACT AUS Tax Center
Indonesia and Australia have established the first Indonesian Tax Center in Australia (INTACT AUS) to strengthen tax cooperation between the two countries. (ANTARA)

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Indonesia and Australia have established the first Indonesian Tax Center in Australia (INTACT AUS) to strengthen tax cooperation between the two countries. 

In its launch, INTACT AUS Chairman Henderi Gunadi expressed his hope that the center will contribute to the development of innovative, fair, and sustainable tax policies for both Indonesia and Australia.

Principal Economic Counsellor of the Indonesian Embassy in Canberra, Pande Ketut Wuri Handayani, also highlighted another key focus of INTACT AU, for assisting Indonesian citizens in Australia to solve their taxation problems.

The Perth Consulate General elaborated on INTACT AUS' specific areas of focus. The center will concentrate on four main areas, namely promoting quality research, facilitating taxation discussions and insights, and encouraging the birth of taxation policies based on research, data, and academic studies.
