Government Opens Over 40,000 Civil Servant Candidate Formations in Nusantara
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The government has announced plans to open over 40,000 Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) positions in July or August for careers in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN). Around 2,000 formations, or roughly five percent, will be specifically allocated for Kalimantan's people.
Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Azwar Anas, provided further details on Monday (7/1). A total of 130,341 CPNS positions will be available across central ministries, with 40,021 positions dedicated to ministerial roles in Nusantara and an additional 600 for the IKN Authority.
In addition to CPNS recruitment, the government plans to relocate approximately 1,740 civil servants (ASN) from central ministries to Nusantara. These reassignments will involve personnel from 38 different ministries and institutions.
