SEAToday.com, Denpasar-To succeed in the 2024 elections, polling stations in various regions are competing to attract the attention and interest of citizens to come and exercise their voting rights. One of them is TPS 26 Banjar Tunjung Sari, Peguyangan Kangin Village in Denpasar, Bali.

TPS 26 carries the concept of Valentine's Day because the day of the 2024 Election coincides with the commemoration of Valentine's Day or Valentine. Shades of pink, and various typical Valentine's decorations such as pink hearts, chocolates, balloons, and candy enliven the TPS.

The pink decorations are harmonious with Balinese decorations, such as in the Gapura section. All KPPS officers at TPS 26 are women. They will serve as many as 280 people from the Permanent Voter List (DPT).

Head of KPPS TPS 26 Ni Luh Eka Mahayeni said that in addition to presenting a unique concept, her party will also provide an attractive appreciation for residents who come to vote on Election Day 2024.

"We will give chocolate to the first 100 voters. All voters at TPS 26 are also free to take heart-shaped candies," she said.

In addition to attracting citizen participation, this Valentine-themed polling station also aims to make citizens vote according to their hearts and elections run peacefully.

More than 3.3 million Balinese citizens exercised their voting rights at 12,809 polling stations spread across 9 city districts, 57 Kecamaran and 716 villages. (SURYA/DKD)
