Presidential Election 2024: Anies Hopes for an Honest and Fair Election
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan hopes that the 2024 elections will be honest and fair. According to him, these two things must happen to realize a peaceful 2024 Election.
"Not only a calm election, a peaceful election. Peaceful but unfair, how? Peaceful but not honest, how? Peace and calm are the results of honesty and fairness," Anies said as reported by Antara.
Anies voted at polling station 60 Jalan Lebak Bulus 2 Cilandak, South Jakarta. He was accompanied by his mother and his nuclear family. Anies arrived at the polling station at around 09:00 WIB.
He took the time to urge the public to vote for ballots with pictures of himself and his vice-presidential partner Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin). "Vote for AMIN. There is writing on his jacket, AMIN," he said.
The 2024 elections were followed by three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates. Number 1 is Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, number 2 is Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and number 3 is Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.
