SEAToday.com, London-King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer, but it has not been revealed what type of cancer he has. According to an official statement from Buckingham Palace on Monday (2/5), King Charles III has been advised to postpone public engagements to undergo treatment and medication. The palace said that King Charles III "remains entirely positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to public duties as soon as possible".
King Charles, who will become king in September 2022, is known to have begun a series of treatments. Meanwhile, Queen Camilla and Prince William will take over while King Charles III receives treatment.
The revelation of the cancer diagnosis comes after King Charles III spent three nights in hospital last month as he underwent a repair procedure for a benign prostate enlargement. King Charles, currently 75 years old, will undergo treatment for cancer as an ambulatory patient. (DHITA/DKD)
