SEAToday.com, Cicalengka-A train accident occurred in Cicalengka, Bandung Regency, on Friday (1/5) between the Turangga train and Bandung Raya local train. The accident occurred on the Cicalengka-Haurpugur station line at around 06:03 a.m.
Public Relations Manager of Operation Area 2 Bandung, Ayep Hanapi, said that currently the evacuation process was still being carried out by officers.
A total of 3 people were killed in a train collision between the Turangga train and Bandung Raya local train in Cicalengka, Friday (1/5) at 06:03 a.m.
The victims were the train driver and assistant of Bandung Raya Commuter Line, and one steward of Turangga Train. Meanwhile, 28 injured victims have been evacuated to Cicalengka Regional Hospital.
The Directorate General of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation has also sent a technical team to follow up and evacuate victims related to the train accident incident.
