KPU Announces Moderators and Panelists for The Third Debate of The 2024 Presidential Election
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The General Elections Commission (KPU) has appointed Ariyo Ardi and Anisha Dasuki as the moderators of the third debate of the 2024 presidential election. The moderators will guide the debate, which will be held on Sunday (1/7) at 7.00 p.m. at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
KPU Chairman August Mellaz said that the rules of the third debate are still the same as before with a duration of 120 minutes and divided into 6 segments. The first segment will be opened with the delivery of the vision, mission, and work programs starting from presidential candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo, and closed with a conclusion statement by each presidential candidate.
The General Election Commission also announced 11 names of panelists for the third debate scheduled on Sunday (1/7) at 7.00 p.m. at Istora Senayan, Jakarta:
- Angel Damayanti (Professor of International Security, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Christian University of Indonesia)
- Curie Maharani Savitri (Lecturer in International Relations, Expert in Defense Industry Studies and Technology Transfer at Binus University)
- Evi Fitriani (Professor of International Relations at the University of Indonesia)
- Hikmahanto Juwana (Professor of International Law at the University of Indonesia and Rector of the University of General Ahmad Yani)
- I Made Andi Arsana (Expert on Geospatial Aspects of Law of the Sea, Gadjah Mada University)
- lan Montratama (Lecturer of International Relations Study Program, Security and Defense Expert of Pertamina University)
- Irine Hiraswari Gayatri (Researcher at the Political Research Center of the National Research and Innovation Agency)
- Kusnanto Anggoro (Defense University Security Expert)
- Admiral TNI (Ret.) Marsetio (Navy Chief of Staff 2012-2014 and Chairman of the Board of Professors of Defense University)
- Philips J. Vermonte (Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the International Islamic University of Indonesia and Senior Fellow of CSIS)
- Widya Setiabudi Sumadinata (Professor of Global Security at Padjadjaran University, Dean of Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at Padjadjaran University)
The theme of this third debate is Defense, International Relations Security, Globalization, Geopolitics, and Foreign Policy.
