Starting Next Year, 3 kg LPG Only Available to Pre-Registered Individuals
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) announced on Tuesday (12/19) that starting January 1, 2024, the purchase of subsidized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in 3 kg cylinders will only be available for people who have been registered.
This decision was made as part of the government's effort to distribute subsidized LPG more effectively. As stated in the Presidential Regulation, those entitled to use 3 kg LPG include targeted households, micro-businesses, fishermen, and farmers.
The ministry urges the public to promptly register with authorized LPG sub-distributors/bases. Registration can be done easily by bringing your ID card (KTP) and family ID card (KK).
