KPU Announces Location, Schedule, Moderators and Panelists for First Vice Presidential Debate
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The General Election Commission (KPU) has announced the location and moderator of the first vice presidential debate scheduled for Friday (12/22).
KPU Chairman Hasyim Asy'ari announced on Monday (12/18) that the first vice presidential debate would take place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) and would commence broadcasting live at 7 p.m. He also explained that, like the first presidential debate, the event would last for 150 minutes, with a debate duration of 120 minutes divided into 6 segments. The debate format would also mirror the first presidential debate.
In addition, the KPU has appointed a moderator for this debate. "The moderator who will lead or moderate the vice presidential candidate debate on December 22 is Alfito Deannova from Trans Corp. Then the second is Liviana Cherlisa from Kompas TV," said Hasyim.
11 panelists will participate in formulating questions for the three vice presidential candidates, namely Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin), Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and Mahfud MD.

4. Fauzan Ali Rasyid-Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung
5. Hendri Saparini-Founder and Economist of CORE Indonesia
6. Hyronimus Rowa-IPDN Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Innovation
7. Poppy Ismalina-Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM
8. Retno Agustina Ekaputri-Rector of Bengkulu University 2021-2025
9. Suharnomo-Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Diponegoro
10.Tauhid Ahmad -Executive Director of INDEF and FEB Lecturer at Veteran National Development University Jakarta
11. Yose Rizal Damuri-Executive Director, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)
The vice presidential candidates will exchange ideas on populist economy, digital economy, finance, fiscal investment, trade, national/regional budget management, infrastructure and urban areas.
