Polres Mimika: Fiersa Besari Telah Dievakuasi dari Puncak Carstensz

SEAToday.com, Timika - Kepolisian Resor (Polres) Mimika, Papua Tengah, mengonfirmasi bahwa musisi Indonesia Fiersa Besari dan rombongannya yang mendaki Puncak Carstensz Pyramid telah berhasil dievakuasi.
"Saat ini, Fiersa Besari dan rombongan sudah berada di salah satu hotel di Timika," ujar Kapolres Mimika, AKBP Billyandha Hildiario Budiman, kepada Antara di Timika, Minggu (2/3).
Hildiario menjelaskan bahwa rombongan Fiersa Besari tidak termasuk dalam tim yang beranggotakan Elsa Laksono dan Lilie Wijayanti Poegiono, dua pendaki yang meninggal akibat hipotermia saat mendaki Puncak Carstensz Pyramid.
"Berdasarkan data yang diterima pada Sabtu (1/3) pukul 22.48 WIT, Fiersa Besari dan rombongannya tiba di basecamp sementara pada Minggu (2/3) pukul 02.07 WIT. Pada saat yang sama, diketahui ada dua orang pendaki yang meninggal dunia," jelasnya.
Saat ini, jenazah Elsa Laksono telah dievakuasi ke RSUD Mimika, sementara proses evakuasi jenazah Lilie Wijayanti Poegiono masih berlangsung. Kedua korban direncanakan akan diterbangkan ke Jakarta pada Senin (3/3) menggunakan maskapai Lion Air.
Sementara itu, Kabid Humas Polda Papua Kombes Pol. Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo dalam siaran pers yang diterima Antara menyebutkan bahwa para pendaki telah melakukan penerbangan dari Bandara Timika menuju Yellow Valley pada Rabu, 26 Februari 2025, pukul 07.00–09.50 WIT, menggunakan helikopter milik PT Komala Indonesia jenis AS 350 B3 (PK-KIE).
Ia menambahkan bahwa PT Tropic Cartenz Jaya, sebagai sponsor resmi, telah berkoordinasi dan bekerja sama dengan kepolisian serta Basarnas Timika untuk melakukan evakuasi terhadap para korban yang meninggal dunia.
