Weather Forecast: Light Rain Across Jakarta on Thursday Afternoon

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts that all areas of Jakarta will experience light rain on Thursday (2/13) afternoon.
According to data from BMKG’s official website, the morning weather forecast for all of Jakarta—including West, East, North, South, Central Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands Regency—indicates overcast skies.
By midday, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to remain heavily overcast, while East Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and Central Jakarta will be cloudy.
In the afternoon, light rain is expected across all areas of Jakarta, except for the Thousand Islands, which will remain heavily overcast.
Meanwhile, during the night, all of Jakarta is predicted to be covered by thick clouds.
Light rain is defined as precipitation of less than 2.5 mm per hour, while moderate rain ranges from 5 to 10 mm per hour.
Jakarta’s temperature is expected to range between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds of 3–6 kilometers per hour, except in the Thousand Islands Regency, where winds may reach 20 kilometers per hour.
