SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Jakarta Provincial Government has urged residents to complete online registration before utilizing the free health checkup program at community health centers (puskesmas).

"For smooth service and health checkup activities at puskesmas, we encourage residents to register online beforehand," said Jakarta Health Agency Head, Ani Ruspitawati.

By registering online in advance, residents can obtain a service ticket before visiting their chosen puskesmas for the free health checkup.

To get the ticket, individuals interested in the Birthday Health Checkup (PKG) must first download the "Satu Sehat Mobile" application.

They must then complete their profile information and select a health facility, such as a puskesmas or a registered clinic, through the app.

Next, they can choose a checkup date, which is available on their birthday and up to 30 days afterward (H+30).

Seven days before the appointment, the app will send a notification prompting users to complete a self-screening form.

On the scheduled date, residents must visit their selected puskesmas or clinic according to their appointment details in the app.

The Jakarta Provincial Government has announced that 44 puskesmas are ready to provide free health checkups, with the program officially launching nationwide on February 10, 2025.

In the next phase, an additional 292 auxiliary puskesmas will be prepared to expand the service.

The free health checkup program (PKG) consists of three categories:

  1. Birthday Health Checkup (PKG Ulang Tahun) - available at puskesmas and clinics for children aged 0–6 years and individuals aged 18 and above, starting February 10, 2025.
  2. School Health Checkup (PKG Sekolah) - conducted at the beginning of the new academic year for children aged 7–17 years, starting in July 2025.
  3. Special Health Checkup (PKG Khusus) - designed for pregnant women and newborns.
