Two Fatalities Identified in Ciawi Toll Gate Accident

SEAToday.com, Bogor - Two of the eight fatalities in the accident at the Ciawi 2 Toll Gate, Bogor City, West Java, on Tuesday (2/4) late at night, have been identified at the mortuary of Ciawi Regional General Hospital (RSUD Ciawi).
The Director of RSUD Ciawi, Fusia Meidiawaty, stated that the two identified victims were Budiman (45), a resident of Cidadap District, Sukabumi, and Yana Mulyana (49), a resident of Selabatu Subdistrict, Cikole District, Sukabumi Regency.
Currently, six other victims are still in the process of identification. RSUD Ciawi had previously received the eight victims’ bodies early Wednesday morning. Among the fatalities, seven were male, while one was female.
Two of the male victims were found burned, while the other five had the following characteristics:
- First victim: A male, approximately 40-50 years old, short straight black hair, wearing a black t-shirt and brown long pants.
- Second victim: A male, approximately 50-60 years old, wavy white hair, wearing a red t-shirt and jeans.
- Third victim: A male, approximately 30-40 years old, short straight black hair, wearing a brown shirt and black pants.
- Fourth victim: A male, approximately 25-35 years old, short wavy black hair, wearing a yellow t-shirt with a black sweater and gray pants.
- Fifth victim: A male, approximately 40-50 years old, short wavy hair, wearing a dark green striped white shirt.
Meanwhile, the female victim was estimated to be around 20-30 years old, wearing a black and white checkered shirt.
In addition to the fatalities, the accident also injured 11 people, including six Jasa Marga employees, the truck driver, and several other vehicle passengers.
The severely injured victims, who are still receiving intensive treatment at RSUD Ciawi, include:
- Bendi Wijaya, a trailer truck driver from Kampung Bangkong Reong, Benda Cicurug. He is still unconscious.
- Dani Nursamsu, a Jasa Marga officer, male, 45 years old.
- Sukanta, a Jasa Marga officer, male, 54 years old.
Meanwhile, victims with minor injuries, most of whom have been discharged, include:
4. Ari Nurharom, a Jasa Marga officer, male, 30 years old.
5. Wahyudin, a Xenia passenger, male, 61 years old.
6. Nurdin Ahyani, a Jasa Marga security officer, male.
7. Yogi Satrio, a Toyota Calya passenger, male, 26 years old.
8. Yosep Irawan, a Xenia passenger, male, 39 years old.
9. Dasep Naseh, a Xenia passenger, male, 40 years old.
10. Sugiarti, a Xenia passenger, female, 49 years old.
11. Ryujia Adriana, a Xenia passenger, female child, 3 years old.
As of now, three severely injured victims are still undergoing intensive medical treatment at the hospital.
