KAI Prepares Additional Trains for Long Weekend in Late January 2025

SEAToday.com, Jakarta – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) has announced the availability of additional train services to accommodate the long weekend at the end of January 2025.

This long weekend starts on Saturday and Sunday (January 25 and 26), followed by Monday (January 27) for the national holiday Isra Mi’raj, Tuesday (January 28) for the Chinese New Year collective leave, and Wednesday (January 29) for the Chinese New Year public holiday.

The additional train services aim to meet the travel needs of those planning trips during this extended holiday period.

“KAI is committed to providing the best services for its customers. Adding more train schedules is our way to ensure that the public can travel comfortably and safely during the long weekend,” said KAI Vice President of Public Relations Anne Purba.

She also encouraged customers to book tickets early via the Access by KAI app or official KAI partners to secure their seats.
