Minister of Communication and Digital Appoints Five Director Generals and Special Advisors

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid officially appointed five director generals, along with several special advisors and ministerial staff, during a ceremony held at the Anantakupa Field, Ministry of Communication and Digital, Jakarta, on Monday, January 13, 2025.

“With gratitude to God Almighty, I hereby officially inaugurate you into your new roles within the Ministry of Communication and Digital,” Meutya stated during the ceremony. She expressed confidence that the newly appointed officials would fulfill their duties responsibly and effectively.

Mira Tayyiba was appointed as Director General of Government Technology, replacing her previous role as Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics. Wayan Toni Supriyanto assumed the position of Director General of Digital Infrastructure, following his tenure as Director General of Post and Informatics Administration. Edwin Hidayat Abdullah was named Director General of Digital Ecosystem, Alexander Sabar as Director General of Digital Space Oversight, and Fifi Aleyda Yahya as Director General of Public Communication and Information.

Ismail was sworn in as Secretary General after serving as Director General of Resources and Postal and Informatics Devices. Meanwhile, Arief Tri Hardiyanto took on the role of Inspector General of the Ministry of Communication and Digital.

The minister also appointed several special advisors and staff. Raden Wijayakusuma Wardhana was named Special Advisor for Social, Economic, and Cultural Affairs, Molly Prabawati as Special Advisor for Communication and Mass Media, and Mohammad Hadiana as Special Advisor for Technology.

Additionally, Aida Rezalina was appointed as Special Staff for Interagency Relations and Strategic Programs, Raline Rahmat Shah as Special Staff for Global Partnerships and Digital Education, and Rudi Sutanto as Special Staff for Strategic Communication.

This inauguration marks a significant step in strengthening the organizational structure of the Ministry of Communication and Digital to support Indonesia’s digital transformation efforts.
