Ministry of Communication and Informatics Launches E-Book “Pemilu Damai Pedia”
SEAToday.com, Jakarta-The Ministry of Communication and Informatics is committed to participating in creating a safe and peaceful digital space in the upcoming 2024 general election.
To ensure the 2024 election is conducted in a peaceful condition, The Ministry of Communication and Informatics created an anti-hoax task force as well as an electronic book called “Pemilu Damai Pedia” or Peaceful Election Pedia.
This was announced by the Director General of Public Information and Communication, Usman Kansong at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics office in Central Jakarta on Monday (04/12)
Usman stated the anti-hoax task force will later be able to filter information containing hate and provocation, that could disrupt public conversation during the 2024 elections.
Meanwhile, the electronic book launch is aimed to aid the public in gaining credible information regarding the general election.
Furthermore, the ministry also participates in monitoring the neutrality of state civil officers. One of the efforts is signing an MoU with the state civil apparatus commission to monitor the neutrality of ASN in the digital space.
