SEAToday.com, Jakarta – Ukraine’s national postal agency, Ukrposhta, has released a special edition stamp featuring Indonesia's newly inaugurated President Prabowo Subianto. The news was shared on the Indonesian Embassy’s official Instagram account in Kyiv, stating, “This is a tribute to mark the inauguration of the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia. May this strengthen diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Ukraine in the future.”

According to a press release from the Indonesian Embassy in Kyiv, the initiative came from The Ukrainian Initiative, a local NGO led by Indonesian cultural enthusiast Yurii Kosenko. Kosenko highlighted that the special edition stamp celebrates President Prabowo’s inauguration. The Indonesian Ambassador to Ukraine, Arief Basalamah, received the stamps at Ukrposhta’s office in Nizhyn City, joined by Kosenko in October 2024.

Ambassador Arief expressed gratitude to Ukrposhta and The Ukrainian Initiative, noting that the stamp reflects Ukraine’s support for Indonesia’s new leadership. He affirmed Indonesia’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Ukraine. Although issued in limited numbers, the stamps are officially usable for mail throughout Ukraine.

Ukrposhta, Ukraine’s official postal service, provides various services, including postal, logistics, financial, and trade, to both individuals and businesses.
