SEAToday.com, Nusantara - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has confirmed that the national team can now begin training at the newly built IKN Football Training Center in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. The announcement was made by PSSI Security and Infrastructure Director Adi Nugroho in Sepaku on Saturday (2/15).
Adi stated that the first phase of construction has been completed, including a natural grass field, an artificial turf field, an O-field, and four dormitory buildings.
The natural field is equipped with FIFA-standard Zoysia Matrella grass, while the lighting system, with an intensity of 800 lux, enables night training sessions.
Although the facility is now operational, the final decision on when the national team will begin training there is still pending approval from the National Team Agency (BTN), which oversees scheduling and coordination.
