Jakarta Police Introduces Cakra Presisi to Replace Paper Ticketing

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya officially ended the paper ticketing at the end of January 2025 and replaced it with the Cakra Presisi ticketing system, Monday (20/1). The decision was taken to reduce direct interaction between officers and the public, which can lead to potential negative values for the image of the police.
As reported on the official website of the Police Public Relations Media Hub, the Cakra Presisi system is designed to send notifications electronically. This system allows for ticket notifications to be sent directly to drivers via WhatsApp.
With this system, the police no longer need to send physical tickets to the driver's home, allowing them to be more efficient in dealing with traffic violations. This move is expected to simplify and expedite the law enforcement process.
Vehicle owners who receive E-TLE notifications via WhatsApp will then need to clear them through the http://etle-pmj.id page. After filling in data such as vehicle police number, phone number, reference code and others, the violator will receive a payment code that needs to be paid.
