Monkey Forest Ubud Ditutup Sementara Imbas Pohon Tumbang yang Tewaskan 2 Turis Asing
SEAToday.com, Bali - Objek wisata Monkey Forest, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali, ditutup sementara imbas tumbangnya pohon beringin, pule, dan kresek, Selasa (10/12), yang mengakibatkan dua turis asing tewas dan satu wisatawan mancanegara lainnya luka-luka.
Kapolsek Ubud Kompol Gusti Nyoman Sudarsana, Selasa (10/12) mengatakan, area wisata ditutup sementara untuk proses pembersihan dan pemulihan. Lebih lanjut, Sudarsana menjelaskan pohon-pohon tersebut tumbang setelah tertiup angin kencang.
Menanggapi hal itu, Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif mengucapkan belasungkawa dan imbauan untuk berhati-hati selama berwisata di Instagram resmi @kemenparekraf.ri, Selasa (10/12). Pihaknya menyebut akan berkoordinasi dengan terkait risk assessment pada cuaca ekstrem yang diprediksi masih akan terjadi di sejumlah tempat wisata.
