Chronology of Fatal Car Accident Claims Lives of 3 tvOne Crew Members

SEAToday.com, Pemalang - A tragic accident occurred on Thursday (10/31) on the Pemalang Toll Road in Central Java, involving a vehicle carrying tvOne crew members. The collision, which took place at kilometer 315+600 of the Pemalang-Batang toll road heading towards Semarang from Jakarta, involved a box truck and a Toyota Avanza.

According to information gathered by SEAToday.com, the accident happened while the production crew of the investigative program "Fakta" was en route to Gresik for a reporting assignment.

Central Java Police Public Relations Head, Senior Commissioner Artanto, explained the sequence of events leading to the accident. He stated that the box truck swerved to avoid another vehicle that had lost control ahead. Unfortunately, the truck veered into the path of the stationary tvOne crew vehicle, which was parked on the shoulder of the road.

A surviving crew member, Felicia, provided a firsthand account of the incident. She recounted that the crew had stopped on the side of the road to clean the windshield when they were struck from behind.

The accident, which occurred around 6:45 AM, resulted in the death of three crew members and injuries to two others. All victims were transported to Islamic Hospital (RSI) Al Ikhlas Taman Pemalang.
