Government Releases New Fee Rates for Indonesian Passport
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Indonesian government has officially announced new fees for passport issuance through Government Regulation Number 45 of 2024. The fee changes are stipulated in Government Regulation Number 45 of 2024, which regulates the types and rates of non-tax state revenues (PNBP) under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. This regulation was signed by Joko Widodo on October 18, two days before the leadership transition.
The regulation's annex details seven types of immigration services, including Indonesian travel documents. The new fees will take effect 60 days after issuance, on December 18. Meanwhile, the fee for replacing a lost passport remains at 1,000,000 rupiah per book, and the fee for repairing a damaged passport is still 500,000 rupiah per book.
The new fee rates:
• Non-electronic Ordinary Passport, Maximum Validity of 5 Years: 350,000 rupiah per application
• Non-electronic Ordinary Passport, Maximum Validity of 10 Years: 650,000 rupiah per application
• Electronic Ordinary Passport, Maximum Validity of 5 Years: 650,000 rupiah per application
• Electronic Ordinary Passport, Maximum Validity of 10 Years: 950,000 rupiah per application
• Travel Document in Lieu of Passport for Indonesian Citizens: 100,000 rupiah per application
• Travel Document in Lieu of Passport for Foreigners: 150,000 rupiah per application
• Same-Day Passport Service: 1,000,000 rupiah per application
