KAI Wisata to Launch e-Porter Service on Access by KAI App

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - PT KA Pariwisata (KAI Wisata) is set to launch e-Porter, a new service designed to assist passengers in carrying their luggage with the help of station porters.
This service will be accessible through the Access by KAI app at 14 major stations along the northern and southern router railway lines in Java. The service fee is set at 38,000 rupiah per booking, with 1,376 porters available to assist passengers.
The e-Porter service is expected to be available by the end of 2024. This service is expected to make it easier for passengers carrying heavy luggage when traveling by train.
"To make life easier for passengers, we encourage everyone to start using the e-Porter or Access by KAI app to book porters," said Hendy Helmi, Director of KAI Wisata. "Booking a porter is now as simple as a tap on your phone."
The e-Porter service via the Access by KAI app is currently available at the following 14 stations:
- Gambir Station
- Bandung Station
- Cirebon Station
- Purwokerto Station
- Semarang Tawang Station
- Yogyakarta Tugu Station
- Solo Balapan Station
- Madiun Station
- Malang Station
- Surabaya Pasar Turi Station
- Surabaya Gubeng Station
- Pasar Senen Station
- Jatinegara Station
