TransJakarta Inaugurates 22 New Electrical Buses

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - TransJakarta inaugurated 22 electric buses, Thursday (23/11) at the Metropolitan Ferris Wheel Bus Depot, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The inauguration was also attended by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service, Syafrin Liputo, the President Director of PT TransJakarta Welfizon Yuza, the Head of Sub-Directorate of Law Enforcement, Traffic Directorate Regional Police Metro Jaya Assistant Commissioner of Police Jhoni Eka Putra, along with the management of PT Bianglala Metropolitan.

PT TransJakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza said the 22 electric bus units increased the electric bus fleet to 74 units. This number is getting closer to the target of an electric bus fleet of 100 units. Another interesting thing about these 22 electric buses is that the charging time is only 2 hours. This bus can operate up to 17 hours or from 5 am to 11 pm.
