SEAToday.com, Jakarta - As of November 10, 2023, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) highlighted that there were still consumer complaints related to insurance, which reached 1,400 out of 19,400 consumer complaints. Consumer Education and Protection (EPK) Regional OJK Deputy Director Gatot Yulianto said that one type of complaint that dominates is related to difficult insurance claims.
Apart from that, Deputy Gatot Yulianto also highlighted that the literacy rate in the insurance sector will be 31.72% in 2022, while the level of financial inclusion in the insurance sector will be 16.63% in the same period.
