President Joko Widodo Appoints Luhut Pandjaitan as Head of National Game Development Steering Committee
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo has appointed Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan to head the steering committee of the National Game Industry Development Acceleration Team.
This is stipulated in Presidential Regulation No. 19 of 2024 on the Acceleration of National Game Industry Development, which was signed on Monday (2/12) and aims to maximize the economic potential of the game industry as well as optimize the game industry business in Indonesia.
Later, there will be two core teams in charge of accelerating the development of the national game industry, namely the Steering Committee and the Daily Implementation Team led by Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno.
