SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Minister of Communications and Information Technology Budi Arie Setiadi has urged Generation Z to use their chance and not to lose the opportunity to vote in the 2024 election. This was conveyed by Minister Budi on Monday (2/12).
"Young generation, especially Generation Z or first-time voters who will be voting in 2024, let's come to the polling stations to use your voting rights as much as possible and don't abstain," he said.
The General Election Commission recorded that Generation Z with a birth range of 1995-2000 amounted to 22.85 percent or the equivalent of 46.8 thousand voters.
In the campaign entitled "Peaceful Election", there are three main themes that the Ministry of Communication and Information has highlighted, namely the participation of the younger generation in the 2024 elections, the campaign against money politics and peaceful elections, even if they have different choices.
