SEAToday.com, Bali - The Bali Provincial Government will impose a tourism levy for foreign tourists of IDR 150,000 (approx. USD 10) starting February 14.

Based on the Love Bali website managed by the Bali provincial government, this levy regulation is contained in Bali Governor Regulation. This policy was taken to overcome various problems in Bali, such as maintaining the exploding number of tourists, preserving culture and maintaining Balinese customs.

For the tourist’s convenience, the provincial government encourages online payments through the Love Bali website or application. Tourists who have paid will receive a QR code to be scanned upon arrival in Bali.
