Presiden Joko Widodo Ganti Nama Hari Libur 'Isa Almasih' Menjadi Hari Libur 'Yesus Kristus'
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Presiden Joko Widodo resmi mengubah nama hari libur 'Isa Almasih' menjadi 'Yesus Kristus'. Perubahan nama tersebut termuat pada Keputusan Presiden (Keppres) Nomor 8 Tahun 2024, Senin (29/1), tentang Hari-hari Libur.
Wakil Menteri Agama (Wamenag) Saiful Rahmat Dasuki mengatakan, perubahan nomenklatur Isa Almasih menjadi Yesus Kristus pada penamaan hari libur nasional itu berdasarkan usulan umat Kristen dan Katolik.
Sebelumnya, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan Muhadjir Effendy telah mengungkapkan rencana perubahan penamaan ini, Sabtu (14/10).
Usai diterbitkannya Keppres tersebut, penggunaan kata Isa Almasih pada beberapa hari libur berubah menjadi Kelahiran Yesus Kristus, Wafat Yesus Kristus, Kebangkitan Yesus Kristus (Paskah) dan Kenaikan Yesus Kristus.
