SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Erick Thohir ensures that SOEs can create a productive, healthy, safe, comfortable and happy work environment for all SOE Group personnel. This was emphasized in a circular letter, on Friday (1/19), regarding the Employee Well-being Policy (EWP) within SOEs addressed to all SOEs' Boards of Commissioners, Directors and Employees.
Erick Thohir explained that the EWP is a comprehensive welfare program for SOE employees, covering physical, mental, social and financial aspects. He emphasized the importance of the availability of facilities to support the performance of women and persons with disabilities in the SOE Group, such as nursery facilities, day care, ramps, guide blocks, and toilets for the disabled, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the EWP.
He believes that the implementation of a quality EWP program will support the realization of healthier industrial relations and a harmonious and collaborative work environment.
