Gaza Authorities Accuse Israel of Stealing Organs from Palestinian Dead Bodies
SEAToday.com, Gaza - Gaza authorities accused Israel of stealing organs from deceased Palestinians after the Israeli military returned the bodies of 80 Palestinians killed during their operation on Tuesday (12/26).
On early Tuesday, the Israeli military handed 80 bodies to Gaza authorities without providing names or specifying their origin. According to the Gaza Media Office, examinations revealed that the bodies had been "mutilated" and significantly changed shape due to the removal of vital organs. The media office also said that this was not the first accusation against Israel, citing previous instances of bodies found with missing organs and Israeli forces exhuming Palestinian graveyards.
The Gaza authorities have urged for an international investigation into the incident, criticizing the silence and inaction of international organizations operating in Gaza.
