SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Former Papua Governor Lukas Enembe passed away at the Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD), Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/26) at 10:45 a.m. The news was confirmed by Head of RSPAD Lieutenant General Albertus Budi Sulistya.
Previously, Lukas received treatment at RSPAD, Gatot Subroto due to kidney failure. His condition also worsened when he was still undergoing a trial for bribery and gratification related to projects in Papua. He was found guilty of committing corruption while serving as Governor of Papua from 2013-2022.
