SEAToday.com, Jakarta Deputy for Meteorology of the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG), Guswanto, explained that this condition is influenced by atmospheric dynamics. This phenomenon affects the increase in rainfall more concentrated in central and eastern Java Island, while in western Java Island it is not too significant.

In addition, the hot weather that occurs on the island of Java is also due to moderate El Nino conditions, which cause the Java region or southern Indonesia to have no cloud cover. It is estimated that the hot weather in the Jabodetabek area will last until the end of December 2023.

What about the weather in your area, SEAtizens?
